Processing Declined Transactions
Here is how MightyMerchant handles declined transactions in v5.3 and above:
- The user has 10 tries to submit their credit card.
- If the user is unsuccessful in submitting their credit card they will see a message on the screen, but no emails are sent. The reasons for being unsuccessful include incorrect typing, an expired card, or a fraudulent attempt.
- The site owner will see an incomplete order in the Site Manager for unsuccessful attempts.
- The user will not receive any type of email about their order.
