Adding or Changing Your Logo

Adding or changing a logo can be accomplished quickly via the Messages Manager in your site manager. If you or a member of your team has graphic design skills, you may want to dress up your current logo for the holidays or different annual important events -- similar to Google Doodles. To upload a new logo, please use the following steps:

  1. Assess the size of your new logo. If it is much wider or taller than your current logo, please consult with HEROweb before proceeding to ensure that this will not create any issues with the layout of your website.
  2. Access the message in your messages manager where your current logo is located. You can do this one of two ways. Either
    1. Log in to your site manager.
    2. Click the "Preview" link next to your homepage category.
    3. Click the "Edit Message" link located directly under your logo. This will take you directly to the message in your site manager where you can edit your logo.

    OR

    1. Log in to your site manager.
    2. Click the "messages" link at the top of the page.
    3. Click the "Edit Message" link next to the message where your current logo is uploaded. The message is typically titled "Logo."
  3. Delete the current logo:
    1. Click and drag over the logo to highlight it.
    2. Hit the Delete or Backspace key on your computer.
  4. Upload your new logo:
    1. Click in the Text Editor field.
    2. Click the image icon in the Text Editor toolbar.
    3. Drag and drop your new logo file into the space labeled "Drop file here," or use the "browse" button to navigate to your new logo file on your computer, select the logo file, and click "Open" to upload the image.
  5. Click the "Save Changes" button.
  6. In a new window or tab, pull up the public side of your website to make sure that your new logo has been successfully added.
  7. If needed, resize the logo in the messages manager:
    1. Access the message in your site manager where the logo is located using the directions in step two.
    2. Click on your new logo image. A black box should appear in the bottom right-hand corner of the image.
    3. Click and drag the black box in the bottom right-hand corner of the image to resize your logo.
    4. Click the "Save Changes" button.
