Processing Declined Transactions

Here is how MightyMerchant handles declined transactions in v5.3 and above:

  1. The user has 10 tries to submit their credit card. 
  2. If the user is unsuccessful in submitting their credit card they will see a message on the screen, but no emails are sent. The reasons for being unsuccessful include incorrect typing, an expired card, or a fraudulent attempt.
  3. The site owner will see an incomplete order in the Site Manager for unsuccessful attempts.
  4. The user will not receive any type of email about their order.
