Setting Anti-Spam Filters in Gmail

If you are using Gmail to read your email, and want to ensure that your website orders do not end up in your Spam Folder, you can set the following filter:

  1. In Gmail, click the gear icon in the top right corner and select Settings.
  2. Click the "Filters" link along the top of the page.
  3. Create a new filter.
  4. Enter a string of words from your order email subject line in the subject line and click "Create Filter with this Search." Typically, the order email subject will contain your business name and that is the text you should enter.
  5. Check "Never send it to Spam" and click "Create Filter".
  6. Save your changes.

With these changes set, your order emails should no longer go into your spam folder.
