Adding a Local Pickup Option

Adding a Local Pickup method on your website is a two-part process.

To add an shipping option so customers can designate Local Pickup:

1. To add a Local Customer Zone:
2. In the Site Manager, click "Shipping".
3. Click "Manage Shipping Zones".
4. Click "New Record".
5. Label your shipping zone "Local Customers".
6. Add the zip codes that you want to include in the Local Customers zone. If you want to include all zip codes that start with "97" you can just enter "97".
7. Save your changes.

To add a Local Pickup Shipping Method:

1. Click "Add a new custom shipping method".
2. Name the shipping method "Local Pickup".
3. Click "Local Customers" as the shipping zone for this method. Do NOT click any other zones.
4. Likely, you will want to leave all shipping charges for the Local Pickup at "0".
5. Save your changes.
6. Place a test order and enter a local zip code to verify that the Local Pickup option is displayed.
