Blog Component Layout
Overview
The blog and announcement components have similar fields, though not all are used by both. Since the blog is an add-on, you would need to activate the fields with the asterisks for use in the blog.
Category component identifier: blog
Category Fields
Default, plus alt_cat_id1. This is used for setting the category to pull the About text for the right sidebar.
The main blog category should be set to “cpage”.
