Account Edge: Importing Customers and Orders into AccountEdge

MightyMerchant can be configured to allow you to transfer your web orders to AccountEdge. If you use AccountEdge software and would like an easy way to transfer your orders to AccountEdge, contact HEROweb to enable this feature.

To transfer orders you will download two files from your web site, one file will contain Customer information (Cards) and the other will contain order detail information (Sales). You will then import these files into AccountEdge

Once your site has been configured to download orders:

In the MightyMerchant Site Manager

  1. Click the 'Account Edge Export' link in your Order Manager.
  2. Select the orders you would like to download. You can choose a date range, an order number range, and limit by order status or payment status.
  3. Click 'Download Cards'
  4. Click 'Download Sales'

In AccountEdge

  1. Choose 'Import Data > Cards > Customer Cards' from the File menu
  2. Choose 'Comma-separated' from the Import File Format menu
  3. Choose 'Update Existing Records' from the Duplicate Records menu
  4. Click 'Continue'
  5. Locate the Cards file you downloaded from MightyMerchant. It will be named 'account-edge-cards-YYYY-MM-DD'
  6. Click 'Open'
  7. Click 'Automatch'
  8. Click 'Import'

Repeat this process for the Sales

  1. Choose 'Import > Sales > Item Sales' from the File menu
  2. Choose 'Comma-separated' from the Import File Format menu
  3. Choose 'Reject Them' from the Duplicate Records menu
  4. Click 'Continue'
  5. Locate the Sales file you downloaded from MightyMerchant. It will be named 'account-edge-sales-YYYY-MM-DD'
  6. Click 'Open'
  7. Click 'Automatch'
  8. Click 'Import'
