Quotes, Estimates & Proposals

  • Important Note

Each implementation of the Proposal, Estimate or Quote form module is slightly different. Below is just one example of the functionality.

  • How the Quote Process Works

A site visitor can request a quote from you by clicking on the "Request a Quote" button. The "features" listed on this field exist as "items" in the category named "Features List for Request a Quote." You can add as many features as you'd like and checkboxes will appear with each feature. If you want to remove a feature, just hide it. (Hidden features won't show on the form).

An email is sent to you with the details of the request. It includes contact information so that you can call or email the person who made the request.

To Create a Quote: Sign in to your Site Manager. Click on the link ‘Create Quote’. A form appears that will allow you to enter:
Who the Quote is For (Person or Company Name), Description of the Quote, Total Price (includes shipping)

Click ADD TO CART to add your item to the cart. You can add more than one items if you'd like.

When you're finished, you can click "View Quote" to view the cart. You then send the person an email and a link is AUTOMATICALLY included to the shopping cart & items in it.

The person requesting the quote receives an email from you with a link to the shopping cart. To update the information that the recipient receives, visit your SITE SETTINGS and look for Quote Item Note.

The quote recipient clicks a link that goes right to their shopping cart so they can check out.
You receive a confirmation that they've paid.
