Adding Additional Photos in Blocks of Text

Using the HTML Editor to add images

Unless you have a really old version of MightyMerchant, we recommend using these instructions for adding multiple images to your product and category pages.

To add extra images to a block of text:
    1. Click the "Edit Above Text with HTML Editor" link located below the description field.

    2. Place your cursor where you want your image to be located, then click the "insert image" icon (pointed mountains and sun just to the left of the happy face icon).

    3. Click the browse button to locate the image on your computer, then double-click on the image name (or highlight the name and click "Open".)

    4. Click the "Upload File" button.

    5. Choose the image name in the left column (if not already highlighted), then click "Next" to position the image within the text, create a border, and add an image title. When you are finished, click OK.

    6. Add additional text or photos within the html editor.

    7. Click the "Save" icon (the first one in the list, looks like a disk.)

    8. Be sure to click "Save" in the Site Manager as well.

MightyMerchant Version 3.58 and below

If you wish to add additional photos to a block of text, for example, in your "More Info" pages (by default, they show one image in the top right text area), you can upload additional photos, then use the following code to place the image within your text:
"imageright:filename.jpg," "imageleft:filename.jpg," or "imagecenter:filename.jpg,"
depending on whether you want the image to show to the right of the text, to the left of the text, or centered between lines of text.

Additional Notes for Extra Images

  • The image code line MUST be on its own line within the text.
  • If you are using this method to add multiple photos to one text field, you may need to play around with the spacing by putting multiple line breaks after your photos so they don't have a lot of text.
  • If the image code is the last line within the text field, be sure to press the "Enter" key at least once after the code.
