Adding a Top Level Category
It should rarely be necessary for you to add a new Top Level Category. Most items can (or, in the case of products, should) be added into existing Top Level Categories.
click "New Category."  2. Enter the information on the "Add" screen. At a minimum, you will want to add the "Category Name." 3. Click "Save Changes". You will see your new Top Level Category in the Category list. Note: When creating new Top Level Categories, it may be necessary for Datahost to adjust settings or templates in order for items within the category to display properly on your website.
